WASTE DISCHARGE SYSTEM FOR SOFT PACKAGE PRINTING INDUSTRY

This waste discharge system is designed for production lines in the Tetra Pak (soft) bag industry (e.g., slitting machines and laminating machines) that generate trimming waste.
For slitting machines (which produce paper-plastic composite trimming waste):
The system shreds the trimming via a shredder, then transports it directly to the waste paper baling room through pipelines. The conveying fan is installed at the end of the system (located in the waste paper room), which helps reduce workshop noise.
Waste materials are conveyed by the fan to a separator: the material is separated from dust-laden gas, then sent to an automatic baler for compression and baling. The dust-laden gas is filtered and collected by a rear-end dust collector.
For laminating machines (which produce paper-plastic composite trimming and pure PE film edge waste):
There are two collection methods for pure PE film edge waste:
  • Non-cutting conveying: A Venturi fan sends the film waste directly to the equipment; it is collected in a material box, then manually transferred to the baling room for baling.
  • Shredding + conveying: The waste is first shredded, then transported to the waste paper room. It is separated via the separator, then either compressed/baled or collected in the material box.
Note: Pure PE film generates static electricity during pipeline transport, causing it to stick to the separator. A dedicated static elimination device must be installed at the separator’s front end to ensure smooth system operation.
The entire system enables automatic transportation and collection of all waste materials. This significantly reduces labour, storage, and transportation costs, while effectively improving workshop environmental conditions.
